The Cow 
The cow is a domestic animal. We keep cows in our houses or near our houses. It has a strong body. Four legs, two horns and a tail. It likes to eat green grass and drink fresh water. People generally feed it on straw, cotton seed and oily cake. It is of different colours. Some are brown, some are dark brown and some are with different spots on the body. Itisavery useful animal. It gives milk. We know that milk is a complete food. Milk has all the vitamins which a human body needs. From its milk we get yogurt, butter, ghee and cheese. We can also eat its meat. Its skin is used to make leather. We make many things such as shoes, purses, jackets, bag
s, and wallets from leather.
