The King and the spider

Robert Bruce was the king of Scotland. The king of England defeated him. Robert Bruce fled away and hid himself in a cave. There he saw a spider. It was trying to climb up but fell down every time. It tried for eighteen times but failed But at the nineteenth attempt, it succeeded. It was a lesson for the king. He made up his mind to fight again. He gathered a large army and defeated the English king.

                       بادشاہ اور مکڑی

رابرٹ بروس سکاٹ لینڈ کا بادشاہ تھا۔ انگلستان کے بادشاہ نے اسے شکست دی۔ رابرٹ بروس بھاگ کر ایک غار میں چھپ گیا۔ وہاں اس نے ایک مکڑی دیکھی۔ یہ اوپر چڑھنے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا لیکن ہر بار نیچے گر گیا۔ اس نے اٹھارہ بار کوشش کی لیکن ناکام رہا لیکن انیسویں کوشش میں کامیاب ہوا۔یہ بادشاہ کے لیے ایک سبق تھا۔ اس نے دوبارہ لڑنے کا ارادہ کر لیا۔ اس نے ایک بڑی فوج جمع کی اور انگریز بادشاہ کو شکست دی۔
